Minor arcana brings those universal themes in to more practical perspective, it represents activities, emotions and general drama of our daily lives.
It consists of 56 cards divided into four suits; each of the suits stands for particular approach to life.

Cups

The Cups suit describes inner states, relationships and spiritual experience it corresponds strongly with emotions. Element of The Cups is water, with inward flowing energy, ability to fill up spaces and reflect changing moods

Wands

Suit of creativity, action and movement, it is associated with sense of adventure, risk-taking and confidence. Wands element is fire. The outward flowing energy of the flames perfectly represents Wands force and passion.

Pentacles

Suit of practicality, material concerns, security and physical experiences. Sometimes, this suit is called The Coins, because it is connected with nature, prosperity, exchange of goods and wealth of all kinds. Element of the pentacles is Earth, representation of beauty and wealth of nature, work and physical world.

Swords

The Swords suit is one of reason, thought and intellect. Also this suit is affiliated with justice, ethical principles and truth. But, it is also associated with states that can lead to unhappiness and disharmony due to strong ego that comes with intellect. The Swords element is air, clear and filled with light, air is the symbol of mental clarity.
